1. Data Collection and Usage
PairioBridge requires the Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) permission to function. By granting this permission, you allow the app to read your notifications.
What we collect
We collect the content of the notifications (text, titles, icons) from apps you explicitly choose to mirror.
Why we collect it
We need this permission to capture incoming messages and alerts so they can be forwarded in real-time to your paired dashboard. This is the sole purpose of the app.
How we use it
Securely transmitted to your paired device. We never use this data for advertising or marketing.
2. Location Data Collection and Usage
PairioBridge collects and accesses background LOCATION data to enable the "Live Location Tracking" feature.
Background AccessLocation data is collected even when the app is closed or not in use, so that the parent dashboard can continuously display the device's real-time whereabouts for safety purposes.
Data PrivacyThis location data is securely transmitted and displayed exclusively on the authenticated parent dashboard. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
3. Installed Apps and Usage Data
To provide the "Smart Filters" feature, PairioBridge requests the Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) and Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS) permissions.
List of Installed AppsWe access the list of apps installed on the device solely so you can select which specific apps you want to monitor notifications for from the Parent Dashboard. We do not use this list for any other purpose.
App Usage StatisticsUsage access may be used to determine device activity levels (such as which app is currently in the foreground) for our offline watchdog and safety features. This data is kept strictly confidential between the paired devices.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your notification data with any third-party services.
The only external service utilized is Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) or a secure WebSocket connection to facilitate the encrypted transit of the message to your secondary device. Your data is never sold, traded, or shared with external entities.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
PairioBridge stores notification data securely in our encrypted database to power the Parent Dashboard. We are committed to minimal, purposeful retention.
Encrypted StorageNotification content (title, text, app name) is stored in our encrypted database solely to display your notification history on the Parent Dashboard. Data is never used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
Data DeletionYou can revoke a pairing or delete your account at any time from the app or the Parent Dashboard. This immediately removes all stored notifications and routing metadata associated with your account from our servers.
6. Security
We prioritize the security of your data. All notification data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest in our database. Your data is only accessible to paired devices authenticated with your account, and is never shared with or readable by third parties.
PairioBridge uses the Device Administrator permission to offer an optional Accidental Uninstall Protection feature. This is designed to prevent children from accidentally deleting the app.
Important DisclaimerThis is not a foolproof security measure and can be disabled by a determined user. We rely on mutual trust between the device owner and the parent/partner. We do not use this permission to wipe data, change passwords, or perform any other administrative actions beyond preventing accidental uninstallation.
8. Additional System Permissions
To ensure PairioBridge operates reliably in the background, we request the following system-level permissions:
Battery Optimizations, Exact Alarms & Foreground ServicesRequired to bypass aggressive OS battery managers (like Android Doze) so the background synchronization service remains active and notifications are delivered without delay. We do not use these to run unnecessary tasks.
Network & Device StateRequired to monitor Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity, and battery levels to update the live "Device Status" on the Parent Dashboard. This status data is encrypted and only visible to you.
