How to keep Pairio Alive

Android phone manufacturers aggressively kill background apps to save battery. To ensure Pairio stays connected and mirrors notifications in real-time, you must adjust the battery settings on the child's device.

Samsung (One UI)

Disable Battery Optimization

Go to Settings > Apps > Pairio > Battery and select "Unrestricted".

Add to Never Sleeping Apps

Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits > Never sleeping apps. Tap the + icon and add Pairio.

Xiaomi / Poco (MIUI 12+)

Enable Autostart

Go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Pairio. Turn on "Autostart".

Remove Battery Restrictions

On the same App Info screen, scroll down to Battery saver and select "No restrictions".

Other Permissions

In the App Info screen, go to Other Permissions. Enable "Show on lock screen", "Display pop-up windows while running in the background", and "Permanent notification".

Lock App in Recents

Open Pairio, then open your recent apps (multitasking). Long press on the Pairio app and tap the Lock icon.

Google Pixel / Motorola (Stock Android)

Allow Unrestricted Battery

Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Pairio > App battery usage. Select "Unrestricted".

Oppo / OnePlus / Realme / Vivo

Allow Background Activity

Go to Settings > Battery > App battery management > Pairio. Enable "Allow foreground activity" and "Allow background activity".

Enable Auto Startup

Go to Settings > App Management > App List > Pairio. Enable "Auto Startup".

Lock in Recent Apps (Optional but recommended)

Open Pairio, then open your recent apps menu (multitasking screen). Swipe down on the Pairio app card or tap the dots to select "Lock".
